• ROLE: Healer
  • CLASS: Necromancer
  • LIFE: Points: 1
  • MANA: None
  • ARMOUR POINTS: Yes (max 5)
  • RP DIFFICULTY: Medium/High
  • PHYSICAL: Medium/High
  • INVESTMENT: Low/Medium
As a Necromancer you hold great power and responsibility over the survival of our infantry. You are expected to stand behind our troops in the chaos of battle and perform gifts of reanimating on our troops strategically.
SPECIAL SKILLS:
  • Our dark lord grants the Healers the gift of healing with touch, 4 times per contest. Healing with touch will instantly restore all Hit Points on a single character. An unconscious character (e.g. HP=0), will regain consciousness at once. The Healer must have their hands free (griping no items) and to press both palms against the target. Skin contact is not necessary, as long as the target feels the pressure of the Healers hands.
  • Can care for a wounded character, which remains lying and motionless – to do this, the Healer cannot wear any weapons or do something else. Also, healer cannot move farther than 1 meter from the wounded character. A character who is tended, will regain 1 HP in 10 (ten) minutes (twice as fast as usual). A Healer can care for up to two characters at a time.
  • Can create healing potions with the help of an alchemist.
SPECIAL RULES:
  • A healer cannot use a shield.
  • Healers will have to role play their capabilities and ideally be identifiable by costume.
  • A healer can use their abilities between contests as well but only 4 times during sun-cycle. It means healing powers will reset each time the sun rises or sets (in game mechanics terms at 22:00 and 10:00 respectively).
  • A Healer must visibly wear a wide yellow ribbon or small flag to signify their status. This ribbon is an out-of-game item and only other Healers can react to it (recognize it).

Expectations for Character creation:

  • BODY ARMOUR: You are not expected to be armored and your garb should allow you free movement and represent your role. However since there are no limitations to wear armor we recommend providing yourself with some protection since you are participating in close combat situations.
  • HELMET: There is no expectation for wearing a helmet but we recommend some head protection to avoid happy accidents.
  • GAMBESON: Recommended - as a light protective garment it can offer you some protection and gives 1 AP for survivability. Gambeson can be hidden under your garb.
  • SHIELD: Not allowed
  • WEAPONS: You are free to pick your fighting style based on your preferences. We recommend long spears to stand behind our Black Guard (shield wall) and support in battle while no healing is required.

Other Expectations: We recommend working on your strength and stamina to be fit and agile and put some attention in your role play skills.
