What if I wish to play a “commoner” during events?
In this case your selected role should be "Warrior".
Warriors don't inherit any special abilities or rules and are free to choose any character identity, look, etc., however one pleases, with no extra roleplay requirements. Warriors are also free to choose their weapons or remain unarmed.
You can always add this info to your character description when signing up to an event and organizers can take it into consideration.I want to make my own weapon and/or shield?
We are holding workshops every summer before Nordic Equinox where we collectively build our weapons and shields. During these workshops we teach you the basics and go over best practices with materials provided by The Order. You can apply this knowledge for your own personal builds for future games to construct safe armaments.

We take the safety of our members very seriously which is why we provide dedicated workshops and pre-made armaments to ensure safe combat.
However getting hit can still cause physical discomfort, you are always free to choose your game style and participate in encounters in any way you feel safe. Wearing armor and helmets is strongly recommended for any role, even if you don't get armor points assigned, it's for your own safety and comfort.
